I was passing near the White House today when this low flying helicopter passes overhead. It landed on the front lawn of the White House, President Obama got in, and it flew away. Here is the underside of President Obama's chopper
This seal really knew how to work the crowd. He swam around looking sad and peeking out until someone held up a fish and then he got excited. After he got the fish he went back to looking sad (but very cute) to try to get more fish.
Who doesn't love adorable dolphin smiles? Trick question, everyone loves adorable dolphin smiles (or at least I hope so because I have lots of pictures of them)
This is a wild pelican hanging out near the Seal/Sea Lion area at SeaWorld. The pelicans were waiting for people to throw fish to the seals and miss (which is exactly how this one got lunch).
Here is a more obvious example of street artists in Philly using Priority Mail stickers to create their picture and then stick it quickly. I have seen Markese's work throughout Philly in that same marker character and Ant in the bottom right.
The simplicity of this street art in Philadelphia is what makes it so remarkable. Just three dots, two inverted v's and six lines can completely change the personality of the image. This is on a solar powered trash compressor a couple blocks outside of Chinatown
